Summary of Proposal:
A new regulation under the Ministry of Infrastructure Act, 2011, that will provide statutory authority for agreements entered into by the Province, municipality and building partner, that, in the Minister's opinion, support implementation of Transit-Oriented Communities, to be registered on title. The regulation would state that an agreement entered into under section 7.1 of the Ministry of Infrastructure Act may be registered against the land to which it applies and the Minister or the municipality is entitled to enforce the provisions of that agreement against the owner/subsequent owner.
